The registration process varies depending on the user's situation.

Standard ISO 18541 requires this function only for the use of third-party HW with access to Stellantis RMI for the resolution of DTC in integrated mode.

      Stellantis actually offers three options:

      • Use of Stellantis HW and SW for integrated diagnostics
      • Use of Stellantis SW and PassThru SAE J2534 HW for integrated diagnostics
      • Only for connected vehicles, in compliance with the requirements of regulation UNECE-115, write access to the so-called Authenticated Diagnostics (ADA) with compatible third-party tools
      1. With Stellantis HW and SW

The diagnostic services with official Stellantis HW and SW are managed on a separate portal, accessible with Single SignOn, that is without the need for additional registration and login.

The system is called wiTECH IAM.

The Integrated Diagnostics function requires the following steps:

        1. Register the Stellantis HW: MicroPODII or Mopar Diagnostic Pod.

    • Access the contact area of the portal to send a request for information about specific RMI for which information is not available directly on the portal.

To ask the questions to the most suitable staff some request types are limited to specific activities based on the RMI of interest: this reduces the waiting time for the answers, as no time is wasted checking if the request is correct or not.

    1. Electronic Tool Information (Diagnostic, Reprogramming, VCI)

In this section you can get information on the electronic equipment used by Stellantis and available to repairers.

There are different methods depending on the type of information of interest:

      • Information provided directly on the portal
      • Need to access the contact area
      1. Official Stellantis SW

There are three diagnostic solutions with official Stellantis SW:

        1. wiTECH IAM

This solution uses the official SW for the Stellantis integrated diagnostics, called wiTECH 2, in combination with the official Stellantis VCI, called MOPAR Diagnostic Pod.

The use of the wiTECH IAM solution does not require the installation of any SW, but just of its VCI drivers.

To find information on wiTECH IAM, refer to section 6.3. Integrated Diagnostics (with Stellantis HW and SW).

        2. wiTECH J2534

        3. ADA

In connected vehicles, with voluntary and advanced compliance with regulation UNECE-115, there is an electronic module called Secure GateWay (SGW), which prevents write access in the vehicle.
The unlock of the writing function is only possible using third-party tools that have implemented the Authenticated Diagnostics Access (ADA) function, which are listed in the related News.

To find information on ADA, refer to section 6.3. Integrated Diagnostics (ADA for connected vehicles with third-party instruments).
