Diagnosis equipment

wiTECH2.0 is the diagnosis equipment for the electronic systems in FIAT, LANCIA, ALFA ROMEO, FIAT PROFESSIONAL, ABARTH, CHRYSLER, JEEP and DODGE vehicles. Click the adjacent image to use it.

After logging in, you first need to register at least one MicroPOD with a serial number the same as or higher than WFP-12000 or WSP-31560.

Once the data has been entered, request approval.

After the appropriate verifications, the user receives an email confirming that the registration was successful.

The registration is automatically valid for vehicles of all brands, except for the need to align MicroPODs that were previously associated with old systems.

After registering the MicroPOD, you will be asked to download the OKTA (One Key Time Access) or Google Authenticator mobile APP, which will require a separate registration.
These applications are essential because they allow two-factor authentication in accordance with cyber security regulations.

After the MicroPOD registration, you can acquire a subscription to the diagnostic which can last:

  • 3 days (considered the average time frame to intervene on a vehicle and related activities; less time makes no sense)
  • 1 month
  • 1 year

You will therefore need to download the new drivers for the MicroPOD, allowing you to use just one device on all FCA brands.

With this new solution, you go from per user management to device management. This means that each device has to have a subscription in order to work, but more users can share the same device. The advantage is that users with more than one MicroPOD can use various MicroPODs simultaneously, so also shorter subscriptions are available.

In order to use the subscription, you need to use the link on Account Manager.

Regarding the use of more advanced functions (reprogramming and bidirectional diagnostics), you need to activate additional subscriptions to technical documentation as these functions require access to Technical Bulletins (for reprogramming) and/or to troubleshooting procedures (for bidirectional programming in the case of DTC with documentary support). Unlocking the Secure GateWay also requires activation of an additional subscription as writing activities on the vehicle must be recorded in our systems as required by the cyber security regulations.

These subscriptions can be purchased on specific portals for the brand concerned, and are associated with the user rather than the device:

  • FLAPH: a subscription to the Online Technical Documentation containing at least the brand concerned, including the manuals, can be purchased for at least 1 hour on this portal.
  • CJD: a subscription on www.techauthority.com can be purchased for at least 1 hour.

You cannot run reprogramming of control modules that might be linked to official FCA Recall Campaigns. Because these activities are the manufacturer's responsibility and tied to tracking their completion, they are entrusted exclusively to the official FCA network.
